With yesterday’s activities of the field exercise “Macedonian Flash-13”, the evaluation of the Middle Infantry Battalion Group (CIBRIG) and the Ranger Company (RC) finished. The offensive activities and the last event for evaluation from the main list of events and incidents were being performed throughout the day.
The re-evaluation of CIBRIG and the evaluation of RC, according to the NATO concept for operational capabilities-Level 2 was done from 02 to 06 October at the military training area “Krivolak” by certified team of evaluators composed of NATO representatives and national representatives.
As mentioned at the initial announcement of the results to the commanders of the declared units by the observers and the directors of the evaluation, all planned activities according the list of incidents are performed on the highest professional level, and the official announcement will be delivered additionally by NATO.
During the exercise, the evaluated units of ARM completed complex combat tasks according to the list of incidents set by the team of evaluators where the units were evaluated in five different areas: plans, operations, logistics, communication and administration.
In addition, procedures for securing a base, cordon and penetration, ambush reaction, infantry assault on a base, combat patrol, infiltration and exfiltration by Mi-17 helicopter, patrolling and setting a check point, setting a mobile check point were demonstrated.
The declared units of ARM including CIBRIG, in the previous evaluation achieved the highest results according the concept for NATO operational capabilities, which confirms their high level of combat readiness for participating in NATO led operations.
After the completed evaluation, on Monday, CIBG will conduct a live ammunition tactical exercise “Reinforced infantry battalion in attack” where they will demonstrate the level of training for performance of combat tasks.
