On April 12, 2023, in the barracks “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman” in Veles, sports competitions and an open day for high school students were held, on the occasion of “April 15 – Training and Doctrine Command Day”.
Sports activities were conducted in cooperation with local institutions and associations, which proved that such activities are significant for developing and strengthening the mutual cooperations. The chess and pink pong competitions were held in the barracks, while the shooting and futsal competitions were held in the premises of Veles Shooting Club and the “Gemidzhii” Sports Centre.
Apart from TRADOC personnel, teams from the local government of the city of Veles, the Sector for Internal Affairs Veles, Territorial Fire Fighting Unit Veles and other teams participated in the sports competitions.
Before the Day of TRADOC, there was a presentation of unit’s equipment and armament, and the Canine Training Center (CTC) presented their activities, as part of Army promotion, which caused great interest among the visitors.
