A ceremony took place on 15th May 2023, at barracks “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” – Veles promoting a postage stamp, which is a result of the cooperation between the Training and Doctrine Command, the National Museum- Veles and members of the executive board of the Union of Philatelists of Macedonia. The postage stamp commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of General Angel Mojsovski. He was born in 1923, in village Oraovec, near Veles and as a partisan fighter in the Macedonia National Liberation War he was declared a national hero and awarded with the Commemorative Medal of the Partisans of 1941.
At the ceremony, the Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Lulzim Nuredini, in his speech, welcomed the guests and thanked Dimitar Belchev, the president of the executive board of the Union of Philatelists of Macedonia and the members of the board for their cooperation with the Training and Doctrine Command in this joint project.
In his address, the president of the Union of Philatelists, Mr. Dimitar Belchev, promoted the postage stamp and mentioned the most important moments of the life and work of General Angel Mojskovski. He also expressed his gratitude for the successful cooperation with the Training and Doctrine Command.
After the ceremony, the guests had an opportunity to visit the Memorial Room in barracks Alekso Demnievski Bauman in Veles and look at the display of exhibits.
