Today, 02.04.2014 (Wednesday) in the framework of cooperation between the Macedonian Army and the civilian structures in the zone of responsibility, a meeting between the Commander of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB), Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski and the mayor of the Municipality of Petrovec, Mr. Borche Mitevski took place.
The visit was in accordance with the plan for civilian and military cooperation with the local governments in the Republic of Macedonia, and on this occasion, the cooperation during 2013 and 2014 was discussed with the Mayor Mr. Borche Mitevski.
During the meeting, a certificate of appreciation was awarded by the commander of the 1st MIB, Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski to the mayor of the municipality of Petrovec, for the provided support by the municipality of Petrovec in the demolition of buildings at the barracks in Petrovec.
Some of the conclusions that emerged from the meeting were: the satisfaction with the support which the ARM receives from the municipality, the deepening of the cooperation in matters relating to civil-military cooperation and emphasizing that it will continue in future.
