At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, a high military delegation of the Armed Forces of the Arab Republic of Egypt, led by Major General Magdy Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammed Ali, is paying a working visit to the Republic of Macedonia.
ARM Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, today met with the Armed Forces of Egypt delegation members. At the official talks at the General Staff, the possibilities of establishing cooperation in the field of defence, and using capacities available to ARM were discussed.
During the visit, which will last from 26th to 30th September, the delegation will visit the training area Krivolak, where the opportunities and training capacities of this area will be presented.
This is a first visit of a senior delegation of the Armed Forces of Egypt to ARM, and it is a good basis for further cooperation of mutual interest.
