In the period starting from 05.03 up to 27.03.2015 the Mechanized Infantry Platoon from the 3. Mechanized Infantry Battalion (3.MIBn), within the unit of the 1. Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1.MIBde), Joint Operations Command (JOC) have conducted the preparations for participation in the exercise “SABER JUNCTION 15” (SJ-15), which will be realized in Hohenfels, FR Germany from 01.04 to 29.04.2015.
In accordance with the scenario for the exercise and the preparations plan in the barracks “NH Kuzman Josifovski-Pity” in Tetovo through real-life scenarios similar to the scenario of the exercise, the platoon has conducted training in the domain of operations for peace support.
The personnel was trained in engaging procedures at a check point, patrolling, ambush reaction, contact and extraction, stages on improvised explosive devices encounter, as well as C4 procedures and stages on offensive and defensive combative action.
The members of ARM from the 3.MIBn by taking active participation in this exercise have shown that JOC and 1.MIBde have continued without any adjournments to take active participation in international exercises and are worthy for the challenge proving their supreme readiness through conducting operations to support peace.
