In the past period, training in the field of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) was carried out for the civil-military cooperation team from the 1st Infantry Brigade (1 InfBde) that will participate in the exercise Saber Junction 24.
The training was conducted by the Civil-Military Cooperation Team (CIMIC) of the US Army’s 21st Theater Sustainment Command.
During the training, several topics from this filed were elaborated when conducting NATO operations, such as the way of carrying out CIMIC activities, the strategy for engaging leaders, as well as practical exercises.
The training is focused on the CIMIC segment in order to strengthen the expertise of the Army personnel in this area, and the way they conduct such activities in multinational environments to support peace operations and international exercises.
The practical part of the training is preparation for the upcoming international exercise “Saber Junction 24”, which will be realized in the next period in Hohenfels, Germany, where the 1st InfBde CIMIC team will participate.
