From 22.09 to 24.09.2015 the Joint Operations Command (JOC) organized the tactical exercise “Electron 2015” during which members of sections of the JOC Signals and Communication Information System (CIS) command and units and the subordinate commands and units took part.
The exercise took place at several different locations in the JOC area of responsibility where the communication information centers (CIC) of the command and units were stationed.
The aim of the exercise “Electron” is to oversee the operational readiness of CIS of ARM in real life situation and distances, as well as determining the level of training and readiness of the units, the service personnel and the available technical means and equipment while executing combat or non combat activities.
The exercise gave a clear picture of the current capacities and the capabilities of the command and units in providing communication and information support to
ARM commands which demonstrated and confirmed the level of achieved combat readiness and successful accomplishment of the mission of the JOC signals units.
Signals and providing communication is one of the main elements in giving support to command and control between the commands and ARM units in peace time, natural disasters, crisis and war.
