The Chief of General Staff of the ARM, Major General Vasko Gjurchinovski and Deputy Defence Minister Bekim Maksuti, accompanied the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Army of Montenegro led by the Minister of Defence of Montenegro, Predrag Boskovic and the Chief of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Dragutin Dakic, at the Army range “Krivolak” where the final activities of the artillery training of the members of the Army of Montenegro were performed.
General Gjurchinovski and the high delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Army of Montenegro followed the artillery firing with 122 mm howitzers, which is the final activity of the training held by the members of the Army of Montenegro.
After the visit to Krivolak, the delegation visited the barracks in Petrovec, where together with the Minister of Defence, Radmila Shekerinska, visited and became acquainted with the activities of the Pilot Training Center.
During the activities, Generals Gjurchinovski and Dakic had the opportunity to discuss the mutual cooperation between the ARM and the Army of Montenegro, which has been expressed so far through several activities in the field of military aviation and training of special forces.
The training of the members of the Army of Montenegro is in line with the plan for bilateral military co-operation with Montenegro for 2018, and once again it confirms and promotes the possibilities of “Krivolak” for carrying out exercises of different types, not only by the ARM but also by armed forces of foreign states.
In addition to facilitating the uninterrupted use of the capacities of one of our largest military training grounds, the Army of the Republic of Macedonia provided adequate professional support for this exercise with its members, the necessary military police escort, and logistical support for the activities.
