A delegation from the Army laid fresh flowers at the memorial dedicated to the fallen defenders from Kriva Palanka who bravely gave their lives during the 2001 conflict.
The event, organized by the Association of Families of Fallen Defenders of the Macedonian Armed Forces– Macedonian Heroes, was also attended by delegations from the Municipality of Kriva Palanka, the Bureau for Public Security, representatives from the Sector for Internal Affairs Kumanovo and the Regional Unit Kriva Palanka, the Special Task Unit “Tiger,” as well as primary and secondary schools from the Municipality of Kriva Palanka.
In honor of the fallen defenders from 2001, a memorial tournament was organized, with the Honor Guard Battalion taking part.
Through our participation we would like to send the message that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
