In the period from 20th to 24th of February at the Army Home in Skopje a “Workshop for Making a Main List of Events and a List of Major Incidents” was held within the cycle of activities for the upcoming multinational logistic staff exercise “Logex 17”.
As a part of the planning process, during this workshop events and incidents are created that will be performed during the exercise, in which participants will practice execution of the mission in a multinational environment.
The aim of the “Logex” exercises is training of staff officers from participating countries in the following areas: deployment of forces, a system of command and control in NATO, support of the host country, developing and operating a national element of support, reception, accommodation, further movement and integration of forces, survival and return of troops from NATO-led mission for which a mandate by the United Nations was given.
At this exercise the participating countries had the opportunity to check the current status of development and interoperability of the logistic system with the accepted partnership goals.
The workshop was attended by representatives from the Joint Staff of the US Army section J7, the European Command of the US Army section J5, NATO School in Latina, Italy, Macedonia, Finland, Montenegro, Moldova, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Croatia and Sweden.
The International Logistics Exercise “Logex 17” will be held in the Republic of Albania in the period from 8th to 19th of May 2017.
