The importance of the training to enhance mutual interoperability, carried out by the personnel of the third mentoring rotation of the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade (4th SFAB), was highlighted during the visit of a delegation from the US Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia led by Ambassador Angela Price Aggeler.
The US instructors shared their experiences with the audience, at the training conducted in the Command of the 1st IBde, related to command activities, leadership, command and control, as an important segment in improving the knowledge of non-commissioned officer and young officers. Besides the delegation from the US Embassy, the commanders of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Besnik Emini and the 1st IBde, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski attended the event.
The US Defense Attaché, Colonel Michael Tarquinto and retired Colonel George Swift, who is an advisor to the Ministry of Defense, were part of the US Embassy delegation.
The previous mentoring of the teams from the 4th Assistance Brigade had a positive impact on the entire process of training preparation and realization, as well as on knowledge acquisition about the US Armed Forces operation and command. The aim is to enhance interoperability in joint operations, as well as to reach the high NATO standards in the process of training and exercises.
