The Chief of GS of ARM, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski has participated at the Partnership Programs Conference, organized by the USA Armed Forces Command for Europe (EUCOM), which has taken place today in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
At the Conference high military officials of the American Army, National Guards of 22 states of the USA and the armies of the Partner Nations have discussed the promotion of the common approach towards the security challenges, the military capacity and improvement of the interoperability.
During the Conference Lieutenant General Velichkovski met with the Commander of the National Guard of Vermont, Major General Steven Cray, as well as several generals and high military officials of the USA Command for Europe and the armies of the participant nations, exchanging experiences of the armies and identifying areas for further cooperation.
The participants confirmed their strong support and expressed words of praise for the high training and achieved results by the ARM members during the peace keeping missions and international exercises.
This partnership program of EUCOM is part of the program of the National Guard of the USA and connects the armies of the USA and the partner nations in order to increase the military capability, improvement of the interoperability and promotion of mutual cooperation but also interoperability among the armies by establishing mutual relations promoting security.
