Today, with a symbolic line-up, the General Staff of the Army of Republic of Macedonia marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the GS, and commencement of its activities and management of the army.
The first Chief of the ARM General Staff, General in retirement, Mitre Arsoski, gave a short historical overview of that period, when on 28, March 1992 the General Staff was taken over and its activation had a key role in the formation of the ARM.
As a reminder of that period, today’s date 28.03 is included in the Military Post of the ARM GS (MP 2803) which is used in internal as well as in communication with other legal and social entities of the Republic of Macedonia.
In conducting the defense of the Republic of Macedonia, the ARM GS performs operational and professional tasks in organizing, preparing and commanding the army.
