The President of the Republic of Macedonia and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces H.E PhD Gjorgje Ivanov gave a lecture at the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski” at the military barracks “Goce Delchev” and thus the new academic years has officially started for the cadets and students at the Academy.
President Ivanov gave a lecture on “Geopolitical and Geostrategic Place of the Republic of Macedonia and the refugee crisis”. He talked about some current issues including geopolitics and geostrategic challenges which the Republic of Macedonia faced last year.
There were some distinguished quests including the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia Major General Muhamet Racaj, Generals in the Army of Macedonia, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense in the Republic of Macedonia Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, some of the key personnel at the general Staff of ARM, and the second year students at the Military Academy.
This is the 20th generation of cadets who start their studies at the Military Academy; therefore, this lecture marked the 20th anniversary of the Military Academy.
