Today, 20th May, the ARM Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski participates in the NATO Military Committee (MC) Conference involving Chiefs of Staff, held at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
In the first part of the conference, the army leaders of the NATO and PfP member states will be introduced to the participation of the partner armies in NATO exercises in order to develop and maintain their interoperability.
The main theme of the conference is evaluation of the progress of the “Resolute Support“ mission in Afghanistan, with a focus on improving the mission support expressed in the initiative of “Enhanced partnership”. The Chiefs of General Staffs of the Alliance army members and the KFOR mission contributors, during the remaining part of the conference, will be introduced to the political and military situation in Kosovo, including the Kosovo Security Forces.
Within the conference, today, it is planed General Koteski to lay a wreath of fresh flowers at the monument in front of NATO Headquarters in Brussels and he will attend further meetings on the sidelines of the conference.
