As part of celebrating August 18, the Day of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, a ceremony was held in the “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” barracks – Veles in the Training and Doctrine Command. In addition to the members of the TRADOC, the mayors of the responsibility zones of the Veles garrison and invited guests from the local government and state institutions of the Veles municipality also attended the ceremony.
In his ceremonial address, Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini reflected on the historical moments of the Army’s formation, emphasized the importance of the Army, and underlined the role it must justify in its further development as a member of the world’s largest military alliance NATO – while carrying out the tasks arising from this membership. Finally, he congratulated all members of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), both those present at today’s ceremony and those currently at their workplaces within and outside the country, on the occasion of “18 August – Army Day,” wishing them good health and success in their work.
At the ceremony, orders for promotion and incentive measures for members of the Training and Doctrines Command were read.
