On 6 October 2026, an accreditation visit by representatives of the NATO Flight Training Europe initiative (NFTE) was conducted at the Command of the Training Squadron (TSq) within the Air Force WING (AF WING).
The visit was attended by the Deputy Commander of the AF WING, the Head of the Military Aviation Authority at the Ministry of Defence, the national representative to NFTE and the Partnership Support arrangement with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), as well as key personnel of the AF WING.
The accreditation focused on assessing the pilot training and instructional capabilities, while working discussions were also held on the challenges faced by the TSq. Particular attention was paid to the level of compliance of the existing capabilities and procedures with relevant NATO standards and established practices.
The exchange of experience and professional insights contributed to identifying opportunities for further enhancing the training system, as well as to developing and promoting the capabilities of the TSq within the NATO flight training system.
