Today, on 3 December, 2014 at the Individual Training Centre the Company Sergeant Major course ended. 17 NCOs of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia completed the course.
The goal of this course is introduction to the duties and responsibilities of the Company Sergeant Major. During the process of the scheduled training on the course, the attendees gained knowledge in realization and monitoring of the individual training of the unit and development of the training program, carrying out personnel management and administration in the unit, development of the program for improvement of leadership, discipline and morale of the unit, regulation of administrative, personnel and other questions related to the soldiers and NCOs.
During the course the NCOs gained knowledge in the area of international humanitarian law and law of armed conflict, NATO structure and peacekeeping operations.
The NCOs received certificates for a successfully completed training that will enable them to be appointed as Company Sergeant Majors.
