Today, 25th July 2014, at the barracks “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” in Veles, the Command of the Veles Garrison and the Firefighting unit of city Veles organized a military training named” Self protection and protection of others in case of fire, ways of extinguishing fire, adequate use of equipment and other firefighting means, extinguishing fire in buildings, open space, forest s and extracting fire victims“.
The Command, the service personnel, military service volunteers, as well as members of the Firefighting Unit of city Veles, took part in the training.
The training had been conducted in accordance with the current needs and weather conditions, and at the same time it was an opportunity for the service personnel and the military volunteers to implement their skills and improve them learning new techniques, through coordination of ARM units with the Firefighting unit of Veles and effective use of the firefighting equipment and means.
The successful training achieved its aim- “all participants in the training will be instructed and trained how to react in case of fire in the ARM facilities and any other place such as urban area, buildings, mountains, forests, holiday resorts or transportation means”.
The ARM service personnel once again had demonstrated their dedication and readiness when reacting in case of fire.
