Today 04.09.2014, delegation from Vermont National Guard visited the Special Operations Regiment (SOR).
Delegation from Vermont National Guard was consisted of Lt. David Foster, sergeant Forest Glodgett and the sergeant Raymond Myers, they were received by the Commander of the Regiment Brigadier Vasco Gjurcinovski who had a brief meeting with them. After the meeting the delegation was presented with the mission, structure, equipment, and experience gained from missions where members of the Regiment were participating. In addition, visit was used for a meeting with the main NCOs from units that participated in the task force “PHOENIX” in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.
After the briefing, the visitors went to visit and tour the units of the composition of the SOR. Guests from Vermont also visited members of the military police battalion were they received unit briefing.
These visit from the Vermont delegation is another confirmation of the excellent cooperation that the Macedonian Army has with the state of Vermont and the U.S. armed forces.
