In the period from 24.06.2019 to 12.07.2019 in the Center for Individual Training at the Training and Doctrine Command, the Basic Leaders Course was carried out by instructors from the British Military Advisory Training Team from Vyskov, Czech Republic, assisted by instructors from the Center for Individual Training. The training was attended by professional soldiers of the units in the Army.
During the training, the trainees learnt about the duties and responsibilities of team leaders, about appropriate implementation of the tactics, techniques and procedures at team and section level while carrying out combat tasks.
The topics and content of the course were carried out through lectures and the main accent was put on the practical training, which gave the soldiers the needed knowledge they will be able to apply in their units.
During the closing ceremony, Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Stojanche Todorov congratulated the trainees on the successful completion of the course and advised them to improve their knowledge and skills in order to be selected as candidates for the Basic NSO Course.
All the trainees received certificates, and the three top-ranked participants were awarded with plaques by the instructors from Vyskov, the Czech Republic.
