Representatives from the Supreme Command of Allied Forces in Europe (SHAPE/NATO) paid a visit to the Air Brigade.
The purpose of the visit was to determine the capacities of the Army, the progress and the plans in the area of ASDE program (Exchange of a radar image with Greece), Air Policing (air patrolling), as well as the NATINAMDS – NATO (Integrated Air defense and Missile defense System) – participation of Republic of North Macedonia in the mutual NATO air defense system.
The delegation was informed about the current projects, the achieved progress as well as about the future challenges.
Also, during the visit there was a tour of the premises planned for a command and control centre of the air space.
