From 4 to 8 September, 2023, a team of representatives from Signals Branch of the German Army, led by Second Lieutenant Niklas Bode, visited the Second Infantry Battalion (2InfBn) within the First Infantry Brigade (1InfBde).
The Commander of the 2InfBn, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Sumrachki, together with Chief of S-6, Lieutenant Damjan Janevski welcomed the guests from Germany. The aim of the visit was discussing the bilateral cooperation, expert talks and exchange of experience.
During the visit the guests were briefed on the unit mission, structure, there was a demonstration of part of the equipment, weapons and materiel. In addition, there were discussions about experiences from the last NATO evaluation, the process of transformation and modernization of the Army, as well as the equipment the signals branch of the unit possesses.
Among their activities, the guest from the German Army had an opportunity to visit a few of the cultural sights of the town of Shtip.
