From today until 17 April in the Army House in Skopje a workshop on: “National Support Element, medical operations, reception, accommodation and further movement, bargaining and procurement / LOGFAS” is taking place. The workshop is part of the planning process of the international staff exercise LOGEX 15 which will be held in May 2015, in Belgrade, Serbia.
The workshop is attended by 20 officers and NCOs of specialty logistics commands and units of the ARM, and will be led by Peter Venoa from the United States European Command (USEUCOM) whose responsibility is the planning and organization of LOGEX 15.
The purpose of this workshop is the ARM logistics officers and NCOs to prepare documents for the composition of the national support element of declared units and detailed national plan to deploy the declared units for the exercise. These documents will help to further the process of planning for the exercise and the workshop participants are expected to improve the interoperability with NATO standards in terms of: planning, creation, deployment, existence and redeployment of the units with emphasis on multinational logistical support.
The exercise LOGEX 15 is a continuation of the cycle of logistics exercises held for several years in order to achieve interoperability in planning and implementation of logistics provision of operations. Next year, apart from the ARM it is planned representatives from 14 countries of NATO and PfP to participate in LOGEX.
