The Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, today at the Training center “Pepelishte” visited the Professional Development and Training Course for Officers trainees who are conducting the last phase of training after which they will be promoted to the officer rank of lieutenant.
During the visit, General Gjurchinovski, in conversation with the future officers, told them that being a part of the most respectable institution in the country, it is expected of them to give their contribution with great motivation, and that the acquired knowledge will be an incentive for achieving high results and successfully building their military career.
In addition, he noted that the knowledge they have gained with the completion of higher education and the acquired skills from the professional development should encourage them to develop their leadership skills and upon deployment to contribute to development of military collectives.
The six-month professional training and development course for service officers is attended by 30 (thirty) participants, who will join the Army as part of the sanitary, musical, legal and technical service, but also with a general military specialty.
After the upcoming promotion to officers’ ranks, which will take place at end of this month with a military ceremony, the new officers will start building their military career on positions according to the designated branches, units and army garrisons throughout the country.
