In the military barracks ‘Alekso Demnievski – Bauman’ in Veles, a military ceremony was held on the occasion of appointing Colonel Ljubencho Petrovski as the Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command (TDC).
Formerly, Colonel Petrovski held the position Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command, and with the retirement of the previous Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command, Colonel Ljupcho Kostovski, he successfully managed this command which is first – subordinated to the ARM General Staff.
After the ceremony of handing in the military flag to the Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command, the Chief of ARM GS, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, and the newly appointed Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command addressed the present audience.
In his speech, General Velichkovski stressed the importance of the Training and Doctrines Command in the defence system, and he wished the newly appointed Commander success in managing the command and achievement of top results.
To the present audience, Colonel Petrovski announced the further priorities of the Training and Doctrines Command which he is going to set his mind to, especially the training and drill of the ARM commands and units’ personnel in order to further enhance the combat readiness in this segment.
The Training and Doctrines Command is a command subordinate to the ARM General Staff, whose mission is to organize, coordinate and carry out individual training of soldiers, cadets, NCOs and officers from the active-duty and the reserve, to support the collective training of the commands and units of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, and to develop the Doctrines and lessons learned in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.
