At the Logistic Support Brigade Command, unit under the Joint Operations Command of ARM, in Skopje there was a commander duty handover ceremony. The duty Commander of Logistic Support Brigade was taken over by Colonel Vasko Toshevski, who up till today was Chief of S4 section (Logistic Support) at the Joint Operations Command.
The ceremony was attended by the Joint Operations Commander Major General Vasko Gjurchinovski and the 1st Mechanised Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Zoran Mileski.
The JOC Commander Major General Vasko Gjurchinovski, as well as the newly appointed and outgoing commander, gave speeches at the ceremony.
Addressing the attendees General Vasko Gjurchinovski in his speech thanked the Deputy Commander of the Logistic Support Brigade Lieutenant Colonel Cvetko Janevski for performing the duty of Commander of the Logistic Support Brigade, especially in the period when the units of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia have been actively deployed in the migrant crisis at the state border and the recent flood emergency in Skopje region. Major General Vasko Gjurchinovski congratulated the newly appointed commander Colonel Vasko Toshevski on his new post and wished him success in commanding the unit.
The newly appointed Commander of the Logistic Support Brigade, Colonel Vasko Toshevski in his speech said that the he will perform his duty professionally and responsibly, thus providing timely and efficient logistic support to all the commands and units of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia at any moment.
