In accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the activity “EOD Experience Exchange – Unexploded Ordnance Disposal” was conducted from July 21-25, 2025.
During the activity, participants exchanged experiences, methods, standard procedures, equipment, and training for disposing of unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices.
Based on the conclusions from this activity, it’s proposed that in 2026, Army personnel will undergo Level 3 training in Bosnia and Herzegovina for dealing with IEDs, and training in the Republic of North Macedonia for the identification of explosive devices and Explosive Ordnance Reconnaissance.
According to the conclusions of the activity, in 2026 it is proposed to implement training for members of the Army, level 3 for dealing with improvised explosive devices in Bosnia and Herzegovina and training for the identification of explosive devices and Explosive Ordnance Reconnaissance in the Republic of North Macedonia.
