At the first meeting of the group for implementation, held today, ARM has started the preparations for the upcoming twenty-first Conference of Chiefs of Army Staff from the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) member countries.
At the meeting, which was held in Skopje, were present ARM members as hosts, as well as representatives of the US army and of the armies of the A-5 member countries.
Members of the working group for implementation defined the list of tasks according to the rules of procedure for 2017, according to the conclusions emerging from the twentieth conference and from the presentation for the upcoming joint exercise “Joint Reaction 17”.
This initial meeting of the working group members of the Adriatic Charter will define the subsequent working calendar, in order to make preparations for the twenty-first Conference of Chiefs of Army Staff from the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) member countries, to be held in October in Republic of Macedonia.
The conference will be attended by Chiefs of Army Staff from the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) member countries (Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro), representatives of the US Armed Forces, Allied NATO Command in Naples, the commanders of the National Guards of the US federal states that are partners with the A5 countries, as well as observer countries.
In 2015, Republic of Macedonia and the ARM hosted the nineteenth Conference of Chiefs of Army Staff from the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) member countries.
