After the start of the third mentoring cycle by the personnel of the third mentoring rotation from the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade (4th SFAB) a training session on topic “MISSION COMMAND” was carried out today at the barracks “Straso Pindzur” in Petrovec.
The training was attended by the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde), Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski, the command’s chief of staff, chiefs of sections, and all the commanders and command sergeant majors of the 1st Infantry Brigade subordinate units.
The purpose of the training was to exchange experiences with members of the 4th SFAB on the topic of the process and principles of command that should be conducted by subordinates, understanding the intentions of the commander, their own missions and the context of those missions, the effect they should achieve and the reason why it should be achieved.
The presence of 4th SFAB in 1st Infantry Brigade had a positive impact on the overall mentoring process, in preparation and conduct of the training, as well as in exchange of experiences on how the US Army and our Army operate.
