NATO Advisory Team to Republic of North Macedonia visited the Operations Command (OC) and the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde), in order to share experiences and give support to the process of transformation of the light infantry combat group (LICG), our largest declared unit of the 1st IBde.
The team, led by the Chief of the NATO Liaison Office Colonel Zoran Jankovich, during their stay at 1st IBde was briefed by the staff and Brigade Commander, Colonel Besnik Emini on the process of transformation of the forces, the personnel, armament, equipment and training, as well as on the process of transformation and modernization of the 1st IBde and its subordinate units so far.
Colonel Jankovich expressed the readiness to continue and deepen the cooperation in order to achieve the goals and tasks to easily respond to the challenges expected to rise during the process of implementation of responsibilities we would have as NATO member state.
