The Rangers Battalion team, part of the Special Operations Regiment, participated in the competition “Best Soldier” in Kosovo and won the second place in the competition of 40 participants from 10 countries.
The competition took place in the period from 22.04 to 25.04.2019. Besides our team, there were also teams from Poland, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Turkey, Kosovo, Croatia and Albania and competed in orientation during day and at night, standard physical checkups, shooting with personal weapon, combined infantry obstacles and 15 kilometers march with a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes, with full equipment and backpack of 10 kg.
The high physical fitness, sacrifice and motivation to represent the unit and the country in the best way resulted in this new success of the Rangers, which once more confirms the qualities the representatives of this unit possess.
