Today 28.05.2014, a delegation from Lithuanian Armed Forces accompanied by State Secretary at the MoD Saso Stefanoski , visited the Special Operations Regiment ( SOR ).
Delegation from Lithuanian Armed Forces was led by Marijus Velichka Deputy Minister of National Defence , was greeted by Regiment Commander , Brigadier General Vasco Gjurcinovski .
After the meeting, to the guests regiment presented his mission, structure, equipment, and experience gained from missions where the unit participated. The visit continued with a tour of tactical technical display where arms and equipment used by the regiment were exposed. Also for the guests from Lithuania demonstration of using multi climbing tower was organized.
In the discussion with SOR Commander guests expressed their appreciation, highlighting the high level of preparedness that was demonstrated by members of the Regiment.
