On May 29, 2018 in “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” barracks in Veles a methodological exercise was held on the topic “Organization of fire protection in the barracks – garrison Veles”.
The exercise was held in cooperation with and assistance of the Territorial Fire Unit from the municipality of Veles. ARM servicemen had the opportunity to practically demonstrate their capabilities in localization and extinguishing of fires as well as in rescue and evacuation of people.
The aim of the activity was to train personnel from the basic units placed in the barracks how to respond in case of being engaged in extinguishing open-air fires in the area of responsibility of the barracks-garrison Veles.
The participants of the exercise had the opportunity to get acquainted with the performance of the equipment of the Territorial Fire Department of the municipality of Veles. They also had a chance to acquire new knowledge and to upgrade the already gained knowledge and skills for protection and dealing with fires.
