Today, at a meeting held in Prilep between the General Staff of ARM and the management of the company “11 Oktomvri-Eurokompozit” the possibilities for cooperation between ARM and this company, which is a manufacturer of composite materials for military and military police equipment, were discussed.
At the meeting attended by the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, Major General Dimche Petrovski and Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski the opportunities offered by the company were reviewed, in particular special purpose products used by the army, in accordance with the plans and requirements of ARM.
The interеst for cooperation with this company is based primarily on the high quality of their protective equipment made of the most advanced composite material(reinforced plastic), with excellent performance and low mass, which enables tactical and operational mobility, security in movement and minimum fatigue.
These features result in efficiency in fulfillment of given tasks with minimum effort. They enable successful usage of equipment for personal ballistic protection in peace support operations, exercises with live firing and tasks which require increased protection of the army personnel.
