KFOR delegation headed by the Commander of this mission Major General Giovanni Fungo today paid an official visit to the Ministry of Defence and the ARM General Staff.

In addition, General Racaj expressed his gratitude for the support from KFOR to the Republic of Macedonia in dealing with the consequences of flooding, where staff and engineering machines from KFOR were engaged in clearing of the terrain.
The conclusion of the working meeting was that ARM and KFOR have established an excellent cooperation, which will continue in the future for the benefit of the security in the region.
The Coordinative Centre for Support of the Host Country, which is a part of the ARM Logistics Support Brigade, was put in a full operational readiness in June 2007. Its main task is to coordinate with KFOR in customs and border procedures of transportation, including other needs of KFOR in the area of logistics provisions, thus making ARM an indirect participant in the KFOR mission.
