At the premises of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of the Republic of Macedonia and the General Staff (GS) of the ARM, diplomas and certificates were awarded to members of the MoD and the ARM who have attended the School for National Defense, Command-Staff Academy and the Greek language courses in the previous years.
The ceremony was attended by the ARM Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, Deputy Minister of Defense, Iljmi Selami, the Head of the Greek Liaison Office in Republic of Macedonia, N.E. Teoharis Lalakos and the Defense attaché of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Greece, Colonel Nikolaos Armabacis.
In his address, General Velichkovski expressed his gratitude for the continuous support and the intensity with which the inter-army cooperation between the two armies has expanded. The Head of the Greek Liaison Office in the Republic of Macedonia, N.E. Teoharis Lalakos expressed his satisfaction from the interest shown in attending the Greek language courses.
The Deputy Minister of Defense, Iljmi Selami, shared his believes that, aside from the training, this cooperation will also progress into the other segments of the defense.
