ARM Sergeant Major of the Army, Sergeant Major Dragan Stojanovski and Sergeant Lidija Ilkovska from J-3/ ARM GS will be attending the 6th Army Sergeant Majors Conference of the USA and Adriatic Charted armies, from 08 to 10 July 2015 in Tirana, Republic of Albania.
The main topic of the conference is “Gender equality, integration and perspective of the armed forces” during which the participants are expected to share their experience and opinions about gender equality challenges the service personnel of these armies encounter in their everyday work. Possibilities for successful cooperation in implementing gender equality as well as preparation and execution of NATO and EU-led missions will be discussed.
This conference is of significant importance for the regional cooperation within the framework of the Adriatic Charter, and thus it is one more guarantee for building the stability, good neighborly relations and mutual understanding between the armies in the region. The outstanding cooperation between the armies of the Adriatic Charter is a strong incentive for cooperation of the Army Sergeant Majors who successfully cascade the lessons learned to all of the soldiers in their armies, respectively.
