Today, August 1th, Shooting range Stenkovec accomodated the final exercise in high military officials’ security. This exercise is the end point of the successful 3 week joint training between the Special Purposes battalion from the Special Operations Regiment and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey.
The joint training and the experience exchange is a part of the bilateral military cooperation program for 2013. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey as one of our true and honest friends and supporters, unselfishly shared the experience in the field of high military officials’ security.
In this period members from the Special Purposes battalion and members from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey exchanged experience in subjects like securing high military officials on movement, securing open spaces as well as securing specific locations such as conferences, locations and similar. The excellent results on the final exercise and during the training verified the fact that the members from the Special Purposes battalion are ready for tasks of this kind which stand in line with the unit’s mission.
