On 10.06.2015 the retired American General Benjamin Freakley visited the Joint Operations Command (JOC), who also in the previous few days attended the informal forum in Berovo which was organized by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia.
After he was welcomed by the JOC Commander, there was a presentation during which general Freakley was acquainted with the structure mission and the tasks of JOC and at the same time opinions and experiences about the interoperability of the units were exchanged.
The aim of the visit was for general Freakley to get more familiarized with the structure and the tasks of the unit. The American general, who is a professor at the University in Arizona, is also one of the Americans who support the entrance of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO structures.
