On 9th, September 2014, the Commander of the 1st Mechanized infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Pavle Arsovski had a meeting with the mayor of municipality of Sveti Nikole, Mr. Zoran Tasev.
At the meeting, realized in the premises of the Town Hall, the deepening of the established civil-military cooperation was discussed, as well as the possibility for assistance and support to the activities of the civil structures of the municipality given by the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade, when needed.
The major expressed his gratitude for the help provided by the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, part of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade, in removing the damages of storms and floods in the past.
On 1st September 2014, a meeting was realized with the mayor of Kriva Palanka, Arsencho Aleksovski. Apart from the Chief of J-9 of the Joint Operational Command, Colonel Zoran Ilov, who was the organizer of the activity, the meeting was attended by a member from the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade and the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion, since this municipality is in the area of responsibility of this unit.
This type of meetings intends to establish and improve the civil-military cooperation and affirmation of the unit in the area of responsibility.
