Today 03.07.2015 at the barracks “Alekso Demnievski- Bauman” in Veles military volunteers of the generation”June-2015” gave an oath of enlistment.
123 soldiers gave their oath, among whom six were females. This is the 26th generation of military service volunteers.
The oath- taking ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defence Mr. Iljmi Selami, the Joint Operations Command Deputy Commander Brigadier General Stojan Dimchov, Special Operations Regiment Commander Brigadier General Vasko Gjurchinovski, the Adjutant of the President of RM Colonel Azim Nuredini, representative of ARM GS Colonel Zoran Dodevski, representatives of other ARM units, local government representatives, relatives of the volunteers and other guests.
The Deputy Minister of Defence of RM Mr. Iljmi Selami congratulated the volunteer on their oath and wished them a success in the following three months in ARM. “The military profession is a challenge, honour and pride for all young, ambitious people and your task is to learn as much as possible about the military skills”, said the minister in his speech. He highlighted that with the training of young soldiers we not only cultivate the young generations in this country, but also nurture patriotism and love for one’s country.
The Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command Colonel Ljubencho Petrovski in his speech told the volunteers that in the upcoming three months they were to expect hard work in order to accomplish all the planned activities of the training. All the knowledge and effort they would acquire and demonstrate would be evaluated and it would be one of the prerequisites for those who would decide to pursue a military career in the future.
