The Training and Doctrine Command on 20th May was visited by Command Sergeant Major Toby Quick who was joined by the Commander of the 186th Brigade Support Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Tracey Poirier and Battalion Sergeant Major Neil Roberts. The delegation was accompanied by the Command Sergeant Major of ARM Dragan Stojanovski.
During the visit there were discussions about the Centre for Individual Training, within the Training and Doctrine Command, at which the delegation was informed about the mission, tasks, organisational structure and the activities of the unit.
The guests showed interests in the training which is provided by the Centre for Individual Training as well as the training of the soldiers on voluntary military service.
The Advanced Non Commissioned Officers Course was also visited by the guests of the Vermont National Guard and they addressed the participants emphasising the importance of building solid relationship between officers and NCOs.
This visit confirms the successful cooperation between the NCOs staff of ARM and Vermont National Guard. The possibility for further cooperation was also discussed especially in terms of exchange of experiences related to instructors in both armies in order to improve the level of education of NCOs.
The members of the Vermont National Guard delegation were satisfied with their visit and shared their experiences and opinions about future cooperation.
