On 27th October, 230 people arrived at the Individual Training Centre of the military barracks “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman” in Veles, who in the following three months are going to be part of the Army of Republic of Macedonia. Among them there are 14 representatives of the female gender who wish to become soldiers. This is the 24th generation of soldiers on a voluntary military service.
The Training and Doctrine Command, as the main carrier of the training process and the only centre for realization of the training of soldiers on a voluntary military service, readily accepted and accommodated the young soldiers again.
After the short period of adjustment starts the training with different program content. The knowledge these soldiers acquire in the following three months will form the basis for their further development as future members of the Army of Republic of Macedonia.
