The execution of tactical tasks such as infiltration and exfiltration on a hostile territory by a helicopter, raid in a populated area and reaction to an improvised explosive device were the situations the sesrvicemen of the Declared Ranger Company had to deal with during the second day of the NATO assessment Level-1, as part of the exercise “Macedonian Flash-12”.
The success and the manner of implementation of the tactical procedures in given situations, completely justify the logo of the Ranger Battalion “Always a step ahead” which has been proven in real situations with the participation of servicemen of this unit in Task Force Phoenix in Afghanistan together with servicemn of the Vermont National Guard in 2010.
