The Commander of the NATO Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples, Admiral James Foggo visited the Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia (ARM), Major General Vasko Gjurchinovsk, today, in the framework of the visit to the Republic of Macedonia.
During his visit, the continuous cooperation of ARM and the NATO Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples was confirmed including their highly appreciated continuous support of ARM in the effort of reaching complete interoperability with NATO standards.
General Gjurchinovski expressed his gratitude for the NATO Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples’ complete support in Macedonia’s integrative process into NATO.
Admiral Foggo stressed that when the Army of the Republic of Macedonia is a NATO member country they will enjoy mutual benefits. He also expressed high appreciation for ARM peacekeepers who have been deployed to Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan. In addition, he talked with the CGS of ARM about different open possibilities of using Training Area Krivolak for joint training and exercises in the future.
During his visit of the Macedonian Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of ARM, Admiral Froggo met Radmila Shekerinska, Macedonian Minister of Defense, and representatives of the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje.
