ARM Chief of General Staff, Major General Vasko Gjurchinovski, in presence of Slovenian ambassador H.E. Milan Jazbec, held a meeting with Slovenia’s newly appointed non-resident Defense Attaché to Macedonia, Colonel Dushan Tosh and former Attaché Colonel Damjana Jurkovic.
At the meeting, General Gjurchinovski congratulated Colonel Tosh on his new appointment, expressing his readiness to continue and deepen the existing successful cooperation between the ARM and the Slovenian Armed Forces.
Words of gratitude were also expressed for the continual support Republic of Slovenia provides to our strategic aim for full-right membership to EU and NATO, as well as for the representatives of Republic of Slovenia in the NATO Liaison Office.
During the meeting, opportunities for further increase and development of mutual cooperation were discussed, above all in the area of joint activities through trainings and military exercises, and also the support Slovenia provides for the ATA ‘Krivolak’, where members of anti-air defense units of Slovenian Armed Forces carry out joint training with ARM members during the traditional bilateral exercise ‘Challenge’.
In the end, General Gjurchinovski expressed his hopes for future success in the carrier of Colonel Damjana Jurkovich, at the same time pointing out her contribution to strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the ARM and Slovenian Armed forces.
