From 01.04 to 05.04.2019 at the training camp “Pepelishte” the final planning conference for the exercise “Decisive Strike” was realized, where besides our army members from the directorate of the exercise from the Joint Operations Command (JOC), also participated representatives from the Armed Forces of USA, Bulgaria, Albania, Monte Negro and Lithuania, as well as representatives from more ministries and governmental institutions, which will be integral part from the support of the exercise in the period from May to July 2019.
During the conference, the joint team for planning made a synchronization of all activities for successful start of the exercise “Decisive Strike”. The plan for the exercise was finalized, the program for the Day of important guests was detailed, the plan for media coverage of all activities was coordinated, the real logistics support was defined, and the activities from the civil-military cooperation were finalized.
On 04.04.2019 was realized the final briefing from the planning process of the exercise to the Deputy commander of JOC, who put an accent on the strategic importance of the exercise for our country as a future 30th country member of NATO.
This final conference completed the planning process and provided completion of all necessary documents which are prerequisite for successful realization of the largest exercise which will be realized in Republic of North Macedonia in 2019.
