Today, June 8, 2019, started live-fire tactical exercises (LFTE) with a platoon, supported by a 82 mm mortar section, and the second mechanized infantry company from the Medium Infantry Battalion Group.
Before the activities began, General Joseph Lengyel, Chief of the US National Guard Bureau, visited the multinational forces from the six participating countries at the “Decisive Strike” and stressed that the exercise is of great importance to all of them and contributes to the strengthening of not only the individual, but also the collective defense.
During the day, representatives from civil-military cooperation from the exercise “Decisive Strike” went to Gevgelija, where in the afternoon, in the city center, a presentation of armament and equipment by the Macedonian Army and the US Army will be held for the citizens of municipality of Gevgelija.
